BPS Global Was Invited to Attend the "One Belt and One Road" Media Briefing

On 9 April 2019, Mr. Vincent Cheung, the President of the BPS Global Group was invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to attend the "One Belt and One Road" successful experience media sharing session. The Chairman of the TDC, Mr. Vincent Lo presided over the media briefing. The sharing session invited 5 corporate representatives who made great contributions on the "One Belt, One Road" in recent years. They shared their successful experiences in in the session. 

 

In 2016, Vincent was invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to attend the Innovation and Technology Summit in Thailand. During the period, he was invited by Thailand's largest pharmaceutical distribution company to participate in a fully automated logistics center project. With our capability and expertise in large-scale automated warehouse solutions, competitive and attractive commercial quotations, BPS Global successfully acquired the automation project and promoted the exchange of logistics technology and experience between two places. Project responsibility includes requirement research, data analysis, process analysis, layout and equipment design, architectural design coordination, equipment supply, installation, testing/debugging and maintenance.  

 

During the sharing session, he mentioned that BPS Global Group and the Indonesian company Salim Group have cooperated in the development of large-scale infrastructure projects under the introduction of Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Fujian office to assist the Mainland to introduce overseas investment. Salim Group plans to build a port in Fujian Province and position the project as “International Industrial Food Park”, which specializes in Southeast Asian food imports. The estimated project investment around 6 billion renminbi. By applying advanced logistics concepts and technologies, BPS Global did research regarding the project and we planned a comprehensive logistics solutions to the project. We have demonstrated how a Hong Kong logistics expert can help smooth the way for companies in Belt and Road countries to seize business opportunities in China. Through the involvement in the harbour project, BPS Global has also played a part in helping the mainland attract investment from Belt and Road countries, effectively promoting the Belt and Road Initiative, which is designed to benefit all parties involved.
