BPS Global awarded a design and build project earlier from the Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) three-storey Level 4 to Level 6 of office building at North Block of total around 50,000 sq. ft. with 3 stages of renovation. We aim to help client achieving a Gold Rating or above higher grade under “BEAM Plus” certificated by Hong Kong Green Building Council by adding the green and smart architectural elements, to provide employees a greenery and healthy work environment.
For energy saving, we installed the mobile sensors for Hactl office, the lighting and air-conditioning temperature will automatically adjust depending on environment and usage conditions; the CO2 sensors were installed to provide accurate and stable of carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity monitoring. Active ventilation serves to provide fresh and clean air, also maintains a comfortable office environment for employees.
The first phase of renovation works was successfully completed, including the installation of adjustable desks, soundproof partitions, mobile sensors, visitor management system and other smart facilities. Internet of things is gradually being applied to the office. A simple visitors access and exit process by simply scanning the QR code on visitor management system, which can improve efficiency and reduce labor cost.
