The pride is dedicated to Vogue Laundry Services (VLS), the laundry & dry cleaning specialist, providing both professional B2B & B2C services to the airlines, hotels, club houses & the general public. To capture the market growth, VLS planned to relocate its production plant from Tuen Mun to Yuen Long and has appointed BPS Global Group (BPS) as a consultant to lead laundry plant relocation & process improvement projects.
VLS has been the BPS premium client for almost half a decade. With deep expertise in supply chain consultancy, we advised VLS management from strategy to implementation. Having over 25 thousands, 70 ton laundry items being washed each day, VLS reckoned that business continuity during migration and operation efficiency in new plant are of management concerns.
Our strong consultancy team has formulated the plant migration strategy that production quality is indifferent to VLS customers during transition period. Migration risk is exhaustively assessed and contingency plan is readily in place to rectify problems on spot. Additionally, our consultants oversee the migration project to track key milestones spanning from building management to software development, control risks, and bridge the operations and management level. BPS deeply anchored in operation efficiency improvement program and change management in but not limited to logistics and service industries.
We have a dedicated professional team with Six Sigma & Lean improvement experience to recommend actionable initiatives. New plant operation model is always the primary concern to VLS management. We collaborated with VLS internal teams on designing efficient process flows and organization structure. With the use of computer simulation analysis, we helped them visualize the operation flow and drive better machinery purchasing, manpower hiring, and training decision instead traditional trial & error approach. One key achievement is reducing 9% manpower by taking advantages of two merged operation entities which implies a higher operational efficiency.
In conclusion, we established a long lasting relationship with VLS and drive sustainable improvement to their business.
