Overview
BPS Global Group has recently completed an alteration and renovation project for a leading University in Hong Kong. The renovation was focused on its existing kitchen (Lower ground floor) and catering facilities (Ground floor). Those facilities had not been significantly renovated for years and a thorough make over is critical in both a safety and functional stand-point.
The renovation plan involved demolition works and repartitioning works to offer additional storage space which allows operations to be executed at maximum efficiency. All floors, ceilings, and walls were removed and refurnished. Drainage improvement work and utility diversion work have also been carried out. In addition, new equipment and new fixtures for the kitchen and catering facilities have been meticulously selected for quality and installed to enhance the academic atmosphere.
Safety is the number one priority in BPS Global’s project. In order to ensure all safety initiatives and relative safety regulations were adopted appropriately, the renovation project was carefully planned and shift-working arrangements have been in place.
Regular risk assessments, safety walks and meetings were in place to prevent any potential industrial accident. By utilizing the expertise of our project team, focusing on quality control and safety and using proactive approach of communication, BPS Global Group successfully met the challenges and subsided any concerns of our client.
